FAQ
Do
you shoot film or digital?
I Ishoot primarily digital, even though this medium is fantastic
it still cannot replicate the look of high grain black and white
film so sometimes (upon request) we will take a film camera and
a few rolls of this film to shoot at key moments.
Why
are there more than one photographer and who will I get for my
wedding?
I
have Sheri (and soon Jean) on my site because I am only one person and
if I am already booked on your wedding day I can still offer my
services via another trusted photographer. If you decide to go
with Sheri or Jean, they will shoot on the day then everything
else is the same as if I shot the day. I will do all the editing,
print ordering and album building. Whoever you want to meet and
choose will be the one that turns up.
If
I choose a package with an album and change my mind later what
happens?
You
can choose any album you want afterwards, I will treat the cost
of the original album as credit.
Do
we get a dvd of the images?
You
can get a dvd of the RAW files that are digital negatives, like
film you need to do some more work before you can print from these.
Once we get these files we spend up to 20 hours processing them
from RAW to jpegs ready for printing. These files are what we
use to print the proof and album prints. Every single picture
has been worked on to get them to this stage. these final jpegs
are available for 25 cents each and only as a job lot
Do
you shoot family and bridal party group shots?
Absolutely.
These are an integral part of the final product. These are not
candid but they are done with the same care and style of the candid
shots.
How
long does it take to do the albums?
The
layouts are done by myself and sent to you via PDF for review
and changes. Once the album has been finalised it takes about
8 - 10 weeks for the Jorgensen Albums and about 3 weeks for the
coffee table book.
